Programme Theme: Nature – Sense – Immersion

A creative, mindful, wellbeing space to practice the art of rejuvenation and replenishment in the day-to-day.

Who is this for?
Teachers, students, educators, and professionals across the education sector.

The Nature – Sense – Immersion programme offers simple, inclusive, rejuvenating micro-practices and is open to everyone, with no prior experience required. By slowing down, participants find balance, enhance equilibrium and cultivate creative cultures and spaces in education and beyond.

This retreat is hosted by Fiona Sullivan of Samudra Creative Consulting.

With over 20 years’ experience as a business leader, project architect, organisational designer, entrepreneur, and nature advocate, Fiona brings a unique blend of  insight and knowledge to her programmes. Her passion for creative inclusion is evident in her design career, in service to  a wide range of clients and industries and is central to the spirit of this programme.

Programme Overview

Each day includes the following session elements:

  • Breath Techniques & Sound Sensing
A seated practice, designed to step out of the day-to day and restore balance. This session focuses on the natural rhythm of the breath, sound sensing, gentle centre.

  • Balance
A replenishing, standing yoga flow, finding balance in Tadasana (Mountain Pose). This session cultivates steadiness and grounding, connection with the earth.

  • Centre
A quiet creative  practice. Participants engage in paper folding and visual mapping,  finding space for inner expression, reflection and inspiration.

  • Movement
A gentle Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) sequence that blends mindful movement with the breath. This session supports physical rejuvenation through a slow flow.

  • Nature
An immersive indoor experience inspired by the natural world. Through soundscapes, visualizations, and creative exercises, participants are invited to feel a deepened connection with nature—even indoors.

All sessions are simple, inclusive micro-practices designed to be integrated into everyday life. Participants are welcome to remain in the space after their session or during breaks to continue resting, reflecting, or simply being. To get the most out of these sessions, we encourage participants to bring their journal and coloured pens or pencils for illustrating and mapping.
