Launching at the National Education Summit Melbourne 2026, the Early Stages Stream is a dynamic new program dedicated to the beginnings that matter most — the early years of education and the early years of a teaching career.

This stream celebrates the creativity, curiosity, and care that shape a child’s first experiences of learning, as well as the passion and promise of teachers embarking on their professional journey. Designed for early childhood educators, new teachers, researchers, and innovators, the program brings together evidence-based strategies, inspiring ideas, and practical tools to strengthen both classroom practice and educator wellbeing.

From nurturing confident, capable young learners to empowering emerging teachers with the confidence and resilience to thrive, the Early Stages Stream is all about starting strong — for children, for teachers, and for the future of education.

Registration to attend Early Stafes is free. Customise your PD and attend as many sessions as you like. All sessions are eligible for PD hours. Conference tickets include access to all Early Stages sessions.
